Bredon Hill Academy

As a middle school, we started using Literacy Gold in 2022. We were experiencing a rise in the number of pupils with diagnoses of dyslexia and presenting with a range of literacy gaps and issues. Pupils were finding accessing the curriculum more challenging. We wanted to offer a more thorough approach to assessment and use an evidence-based package. We required an intervention that would offer both quick results and be value for money. We made use of the free trial and were impressed with the screener and the range of intervention options. We also thought the personalised contact was supportive and friendly.

We have continued to subscribe as the team have developed the program’s sophistication and adaptive nature. It is a significant part of our Academy’s dyslexia pathway which both pupils and parents/carers have appreciated. The progress our pupils have made have been impressive and the intervention package continues to be good value for the impact it has. The pupils like the various programmes because they are clear, calm and easy to access. It only takes twenty-five minutes to play daily. It is clearly sequenced and also involves a vision training program. The reports are useful and this package is recommended by many qualified dyslexic assessors who work with us.
